Psittacus
Psittacus parrot food is produced by Psittacus Catalonia, a specialist parrot breeding and research centre. Psittacus parrot foods are complete feeds that contain all the necessary nutrients, vitamins and minerals needed to develop a healthy and normal life. The products are formulated with the knowledge that a parrot can live many years (sometimes over 60 years) and food must be of the highest quality. The formulas contain cereals, pulses, oilseeds, palm oil, soya, sunflower and linseed, dried fruit, dried flowers, sugar, dried egg, minerals, vitamins and some product-improving additives. Some of these additives are particularly important to mention - yucca extract and prebiotic (inulin), which aid complete digestion. The Psittacus formula can be 100% of the diet, but you can add other foods to provide variety, provided that Psittacus does not fall below 70-80% of the total consumption. Fresh fruit and vegetables can be supplied without limitation.
