Neonatal parrot hand rearing formula - ideal for use in days 7-21 of life
Use
This product is intended for hand-rearing parrot and parakeet (psittacine) chicks in the second neonatal phase until the moment that the feathers begin to emerge. Must take into account that during the leading neonatal phase (the 7 earliest days) is suitable to use Psittacine Crop Milk. It is recommended for most parrot species of the genera Psittacus (African Greys), Poicephalus (Sengal / Meyers etc), Amazona (Amazons), Cacatua (White Cockatoos), Ara (Macaws), Psittacula (Ring-necked Parakeets, Alexandrines), Aratinga (Sun, Nanday and Jenday Conures), Platycercus (Rosellas), etc. but is contraindicated (not recommended) for hand-rearing cockatiels, budgies and other small australian parrots and parakeets. It contains a high proportion of dried egg and papaya which promotes digestive transit.
Directions for use
It is a first-age hand feeding formula. It is designed to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet. Its use is recommended during the first 7 to 21 days of life, depending on the species. From that moment it is advisable to use continuation hand feeding formula. Mix with lukewarm water to a concentration of 20-25% (similar texture of a
shaken yogurt). Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if it is hermetically sealed).
Daily intake
Chicks a week of life usually need up to 6 feedings per day (depending on the species). The crop capacity will determine the correct amount to supply. The number of feedings per day decreases with age.

Cereal grains, products and by-products of oil seeds and fruits, vegetable oils (contains crude palm oil 6.5%), dried whole egg, legume seeds, products and by-products of cereal grains, minerals, fructose, dried brewer's yeast, dried papaya, inulin (0.05%)

Mixture of flavouring compounds, rosemary extract, African marigold extract (contains yucca extract 0.015%) / Sepiolite / Tocopherol-rich extracts of natural origin, palmitoyl-6-ascorbic acid / Compounds of trace elements (ferrous chelate, cupric chelate, manganese chelate, zinc chelate; calcium iodate anhydrous and hydroxy-analogue of selenomethionine) / Vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effects (A, D3, E, C, K, B1, B2, B6, B12, Pantothenic acid, Niacin, Folic acid, Biotin, Choline chloride, Betaine anhydrous)
