Rubsen rape / Red rapeseed - smaller than the more common large black rapeseed and favoured by finches and canaries.

This rapeseed is softer than the more normal black varieties. And because of this my birds love it. Because of its high oil content i tend to buy seed mixes with no rape and add my own. I vary the amounts accordingly depending on the birds condition e.g.if they are in moult i'll increase the amount along with some hemp,nyger,and linseed as high oilseeds are very beneficial to them. To recap as i said. Rubsen red rapeseed is an excellent product at a very good price and my birds love it. And Garden Feather offer a fast and reliable service
