Use
This product is a complete food intended for adult parrots of the subfamily Loriinae (lories and lorikeets). It contains highly digestible ingredients, specific to the Loriinae diet to achieve the maximum quality and palatability. Lory Diet can be provided as a complete diet (unlike Lory Gel and Lory Nectar) alongside fruit.
Lory Diet is preferably supplied in dry form, but it can be provided mixed with water until a creamy texture. It is important to clean out the feeders daily. In warm environments, the product should be renewed more than once a day if it is diluted with water. We recommend supplementing the diet with fresh fruit every day. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose basic diet is Lory Diet. Store in a cool dry place after opening (while refrigeration is not advised, freezing is possible if hermetically sealed).
Daily intake
Bird consumption varies between 7-10 g of dried Lory Diet per 100 g of body weight.
