A brilliant cooking mix for parrots and large parakeets.
The mixture contains a good variety of beans and peas, including adzuki beans, white and black beans, chickpeas, yellow and green peas and also has lentils and quinoa.
Successfully used at the world-renowned ACTP breeding centre in Berlin, Germany (home of the Spix Macaw Project) on their collection of rare Caribbean amazons.
Directions for use
- Rinse well under cold running water
- Simmer in boiling water for 45 minutes
- Rinse again under cold running water
- Allow to cool completely before serving
