Foniopaddy (or Fonio Paddy) is a grass seed, grown in Uganda. Foniopaddy is reported to be effective in treating coccidiosis (the disease often known as 'going light') in birds. During studies, birds under veterinary supervision and known to have coccidiosis were fed with Foniopaddy for a week. Their droppings were studied after the week and cocciodiosis could no longer be detected.
Fonio Paddy is a relatively recent product to the UK market, and is fast gaining popularity with bird keepers.

Love this product for my birds.Keeps them healthy and protects against Coccidiosis . They have it in another dish with their crushed baked egg shells.
